We are SO HAPPY to be bring Wild and Scenic Film Festival BACK to Alabama! Join us IN PERSON in Huntsville or virtually from anywhere for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour in Alabama!
Wild & Scenic Film Festival is BACK ON TOUR in Alabama for one night only as a HYBRID event!
Join us in person at Campus 805’s A/V Room or from anywhere for the virtual live stream event featuring an evening of films — from the comfort of your own living room! No matter how you join us, you’ll still see some familiar faces and places and learn more about how you can support the work of environmental groups across the state and how to take action immediately for critical issues impacting Alabamians.

HOW DOES THIS WORK VIRTUALLY?
It couldn’t be easier! Simply purchase your ticket and you will receive an email on the day of the show with a link to watch live along with us. Pop some popcorn and settle in for the show! You will receive a special link for the live stream event on Thursday, October 20. Simply click the link, sit back, and enjoy the show!

WHAT TYPES OF FILMS ARE SHOWN AT WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL?
At the festival, you’ll LEARN new ideas from a selection of inspiring environmental films with hard hitting topics including bioengineering, water issues, wilderness preservation, citizen activism and more. You’ll EXPERIENCE the adrenaline of kayaking the wildest rivers, climbing the highest peaks and trekking across the globe with adventure films from around the world. You’ll EXPLORE the issues and movements with leading environmental activists and professionals, filmmakers, and celebrities. And you’ll CELEBRATE the natural and wild world.
IS THIS THE SAME AS SOUTHERN EXPOSURE FILMS?
No, though we understand the confusion! The Southern Exposure films are produced by Alabama Rivers Alliance each summer and have their own separate screenings across Alabama. The Southern Exposure films DO screen as part of the national Wild and Scenic Film Festival too, but they are separate events. To put a finer point on it: The Wild & Scenic Film Festival features films from all across the globe and the Southern Exposure films are created in Alabama. Let us know if you have any questions!
