In 2015, this docket gave Alabama Power permission to add up to 500 MW of renewable or environmentally‐specialized generation, but only if the projects are properly vetted, benefit all customers, and meet clear rules. In the most recent update, solar projects previously approved by the PSC were determined unable to proceed with their Energy Purchase Agreements.
